Duties
The
Committee on Admissions, Records, Scheduling and Student Aid shall
initiate legislation relating to academic admissions and readmissions
standards for the Senate Policies and Procedures for Undergraduate
Students. It shall make recommendations on policies concerning the
effect that Admissions, Records, Scheduling and Student Aid procedures
have on the attainment of the University's overall educational
objectives. It shall be the University Faculty Senate advisory body to
the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management and Administration and the
Registrar, and it shall maintain liaison with other University
officials in these areas.
It shall be the University Faculty Senate advisory body to the Assistant Vice
Provost for Student Financial Aid for responsibilities related to student aid.
It shall be concerned with policies involving student awards, scholarships,
and student aid. It shall have the authority to act on individual problems of
reinstatement and certification of credit referred to it by the Vice Provost
for Enrollment Management and Administration or the Registrar.

Meetings
At all
committee meetings:
- Visitors
are always welcome to attend but available seating is limited;
- Visitors
who would like to address the Committee should contact the Chair in
advance of the meeting date; and
- Any
attachments that are not posted with the meeting Agenda can be obtained
in hard copy from either the Faculty Senate Office or the Committee
Chair.
