- Justification statement: Include a statement setting forth reasons for the
proposed drop and written evidence of consultation with any unit affected
by the drop.
- Consultation with Appropriate Departments and Academic Support Units: Provide
written evidence of consultation with any unit affected by the drop. The consultation
may be documented in the form of a grid in the proposal as long as one copy
of the actual correspondence is attached to the original proposal.
- Effective Date: The standard effective date for dropping courses is the
first semester following approval on the Senate Curriculum Report, unless
otherwise specified.
